Everyone knows that an ugly website won’t hold anyone’s attention for very long, right? No matter how good the content is, people will be turned off by the plainness or unattractiveness of it and press the back button before they get too far. It’s been proven that uglier websites tend to get less time spent on them and produce less sales.

Plus, who wants an ugly website?

This is why it’s essential to have a website look like it was designed by professional graphic designers.

While there are a lot of great free themes available for WordPress, for my most important websites, I’ve always used premium themes. Premium themes have all been designed by professionals and come with a ton of extra features and customizable settings not usually available with free themes.

If you are interested in browsing some top tier themes for your websites, these are the best places to buy professional themes:

Elegant Themes – Elegant Themes offers several high quality themes once you become a member. I am currently using the Elegant Theme “TheCorporation” on The Make Money from Home LIONS CLUB. I also used the Elegant Theme “Polished” for my Sample Sales Page website and “Envisioned” for Mike Omar Photography.

Thesis Theme – This is without a doubt the most powerful theme available for WordPress. For most websites I usually use a premade theme from Elegant, but if I have a very specific project in mind or I am making a website for a client with very exact specifications, I’ll use Thesis.

OptimizePress – This is the best theme out there for creating high quality landing pages, squeeze pages, membership websites, etc., with a top conversion rate for turning viewers into subscribers and buyers. If the main purpose of your website is to sell digital products or you’re creating a membership website, use this theme.

Remember, the more professional your websites look, the easier everything else becomes.

Note: I have made this automated newsletter using AWeber. No website (or Facebook fan page, etc.) is complete until it has a sign up form to collect email addresses (otherwise, you’re leaving money on the table). Every business in the world should have an email list, as well as a newsletter they send out on a regular basis. No matter what kind of online website you have (business website, personal blog, etc.), get a sign up form on there and start collecting emails immediately (even if you don’t have a clear idea of what you’re going to do with that mailing list yet).
